Playing hooky
This morning Evelyn was beyond pitiful. She laid on the couch and acted as if she might die. Her head and tummy hurt and she needed to stay home from school. My parents are visiting from out of town and my mom felt so sorry for her she insisted she stay home. I know my Evelyn and she was totally faking it, but if figure what's the harm. Anyway she played with ruby and took a nice long bath and cleaned her room. It was a very productive sick day. At lunch I said to her.. "you could have gone to school?" she sorta smiled and I just said "it will be our little secret" she seemed pretty pleased with herself. I do love this girl!!!

We call them personal days at our house. :) Every now and then everyone needs a day off-I know I do! Psst...Jake doesn't even know this yet, but we are homeschooling next year. My mother in law doesn't know yet otherwise I would be blogging about it...but she reads my blog so I can't...yet... and I just had to tell someone who wouldn't tell her! :) I wish I lived in an area that had a nice LDS school like your kiddos go to! :) Thanks for letting me vent to ya.
