Go Coleman!!!

COLEMAN had a Snowboarding competion and he had a blast!!! He is the youngest kid on his team and has really learned a ton. Brian went and helped with the day and he got so sunburned it is almost funny-okay not really "funny" but maybe it taught him a lesson about putting on sunscreen. I am so happy for Coleman that he has something he loved so much and he is already talking about next year.

We are so proud of you Coleman
This is him doing the end of the course!
Go Coleman!!!

Tank

7 Months- 79 pounds
What a Cutie!

I am going to share with you the worst Tank story to date! This morning at 6am I hear Coleman get up and go to the bathroom and start running the tub, and I am like what's up with that so I wait till he gets out and ask him why he was running the bath and he say "You want to know I'll tell you, Tank Pooped in my room and I stepped in it" I almost died! I look in his room and there is 2 BIG piles of CRAP in his room and the smell is horrendous, at that point I remember that Brian had given Tank some of our table scraps last night (it was pulled pork-WHY WHY WHY would he do such a thing) So I calmly went into the bedroom and told Brian he had a nice little project to wake up to and he was not happy, but to his defence he got right up and went to WORK. And it was a job and he did it all by himself, he got the carpet cleaner out and everything!!! I am feeling a pretty big need to replace the carpet in this house!!! So next time you have a mess in your house to clean be happy it isn't a Tank size mess :(:(:(. You would almost think I would be to embarrassed to share this story, but alas I am not!

I hope you are worth all this trouble you are causing:

Yoga

A couple of Sunday's ago I spend the afternoon teaching my girls some yoga and we had a BLAST!!! They have been asking to go to yoga with me and so I am in the process of finding a good kids yoga class. Anyway, I loved watching them learn and they were so happy and we laughed a TON!!
Good Day!!
Tree Pose
Downward facing Dog
Childs Pose
After Evelyn did this pose for like 30 seconds she got up and looked at me and said "Mommy, I feel like a new person, I love this pose" So cute-I love this girl!

Get busy Girlfriend!

Evelyn new chore is doing the dishes and she loves it!! I know that won't last forever, but hey I will take the happy attitude as long as I can get it! When we have a big meal there are a lot of dishes and pots so this is a BIG job and I am so proud of her for taking the challenge with a smile!

Surgery Time

March 5th
Ruby had tubes put in her ears and it was a piece of cake!! She looked so cute in her little gown and holding the "brave lion" they gave her at the surgery center.
what a little cutie!!! Just waiting my turn!!!
After it was over she was a little freaked out and I was happy to hold and comfort my sweet baby. ( I am looking a little rough, but Ruby is so cute in my arms I had to share the picture)

First Best Friend

Claire and Candy- Best Friends!
Claire goes to preschool 2 days a week and goes full day. There is one little girl that does the same thing and she and Claire are best buddies. Claire talks about Candy constantly, everyday. If we are at a store she will say "Candy likes this store" or "Candy likes hot dogs, just like me." It is pretty cute how much they like each other. The first thing she tells me after school is weather or not Candy was at school and what they had for lunch and what they did at recess. The funniest thing she does is when she goes into 5 minute explanations on how when she spends the night at Candy's house she does this this and this.....she has NEVER even been to Candy's house, she has the biggest imagination!! Or she is just a liar, lol!

I love watching her get so excited about having a little friend and I am going to try to get a play date set up!

Totally Cuteness!!

March 2nd 2010
Leland and Claire had Patriotic Programs at their school, and it was so cute. They both sang so well and knew all their hand motions. I was so proud of them and so grateful to hear them say the Pledge of Allegiance, as I listened to the words it hit me what a great land we live in and what a blessing it is to have freedom. These kids are America's future leaders and it is so important what we teach them! That's all I'm saying!!!

LOVE IT!!!

Daddy Daughter Princess Ball

Feb 27th 2010

Leland was so excited that she had a special night with her Daddy, her school put on a Princess ball for Daddy's and their Daughters. It was almost like she was embarrassed to have so much attention on only her, Brian took her out to dinner and they made crafts and danced at the Ball. Brian is the best Dad and even though the "girlie stuff" isn't really his thing he would do ANYTHING for his girls!!! He loved bonding with his little Princess!!

Leland loved dancing with her friends, LOVED it!!!!
I love these kids!

Favorite things!

There are a million things I love about this little girl, but here are just a few:
Every morning she has Eggo waffles, I toast them and cut them into 1/4's and as soon as I put them on her tray she stacks them up in one hand and eats them with the other. It is so funny!! She manages to eat at least 2 whole waffles and some fruit and even milk, that is a lot of food for a 16 month old!
She sucks her thumb, I know I won't like this in a few years, but she is so dang cute I just LOVE it!!!
She LOVES Daisy!!!
You can always find her trying to tote stuff around in a bag, we just call her the
"bag lady"

I could go on forever, this girl lights up my day!!!

Evelyn's Night Out!!!

Brian and I took Evelyn out for a night of dinner and a movie. It can be hard to give each child one on one time so it was nice to devote a whole evening to our Awesome Evelyn.

We Love You EVELYN!!!

The Patriotic Program

The Patriotic Program
American Heritage School
Feb.11, 2010

Coleman was not happy with the fact that he had to wear makeup!
I love my kids school for so many reasons, but one of the main reasons is that they teach my kids the truth about America's Heritage and that it was a Christan Heritage. The Patriotic Program is a beautiful play and musical presentation that depicts America Christan Heritage. Coleman played a Barron that persuaded King John of England to sign the Magna Carta. It was fun to see him so into his part. The play was put on by the 5th grade students and they all did an AMAZING job and I was so impressed with the whole thing. Evelyn sang in the choir with all the lower grades. It was truly an inspiring program!!!

My parents were so happy they got to see this and it is one of the main reasons they stayed with us for so long, it was unforgettable!

Chillin'

Claire and Big Daddy Just Chillin' Out!!!
My kids love Big Daddy and were so happy he was able to be with us for a whole month.

Feb.2010

Poor Baby Ruby!! :(:(:(

Jan 2010

While we were in Mexico living it up my Mom and Dad were home with my kids and a very sick Ruby. She was totally fine when we left for our trip, but a few days later she starting getting sick. Well my Mom didn't want us to worry because what could we do, so she just loved her and took care of her perfectly. On morning we were coming home, my Mom goes to get Ruby out of her crib and this is what she found. She totally freaked out, Ruby was COVERED in a horrible rash and was totally lifeless. She called the Dr. and they said they could get her in at 4 pm and my Mom was like I don't think so, she needs to come in NOW!! So off to the Dr. they go to find out Ruby had RSV and it was pretty bad. Her oxygen level was at 74% and they gave her a breathing treatment and sent her to the hospital to have her nose suctioned out. They said to bring her back at 3 and they would decide if they were going to put her in the hospital. Luckily her oxygen went up quite a lot and they just said to keep taking her to the hospital to get suctioned out and keep an eye on her.

At this point my Mom called and told me just how sick Ruby was, I could not wait to get home to my little Ruby. I know my Mom took excellent care of her and I am so grateful for all she does for me and my family.
