It's a Girl!!!

Today was our Ultrasound and we found out we have a healthy baby girl on the way. I can't believe we are going to have 4 girls, Coleman is literally in shock!!! I really wanted a brother for him, but I am happy either way.
So that's our big news!!!

Family Reunion

This past weekend we had a family reunion with Brians family. Everyone traveled to Utah to our house and we braced ourselves for a weekend of fun.

This is a picture of Memere and Caden at the park in our neighborhood. This little guy is so cute you just want to squeeze him to death.
Here is Leland at the park. She definitely had the most fun. Evelyn complained the whole time she had to pee, Ian was sick and not up for much playing, and Claire was just a little to small for these big slides. I did take her down a few times and I was a little scared. Leland was fearless, she even went backwards head first once and was a little shocked to realize that she was going to land right on her head, but of course she just laughed.
This was seriously one of the best days I have had in a long time. It started with 5 hours of shopping at the outlets in Park City , what a glorious time, I really was in the zone! Then after the girls got home from shopping all the adults went to our favorite sushi restaurant. Oh Heaven it was!!!!! I am still dreaming about it. Then to top off the night we went to the movies. Okay the movie sucked, but hey life can't be perfect. ( I was Indiana Jones-don't go see it!)
These kids sure do love their Papa!!! He can always get a huge laugh!!!

This is Caden Deigo and boy his he a cutie!!! He is 7mons. old and just perfect. The only time I heard him cry is when he wanted food. What a little Blessing
And what reunion would be complete without Bear. My hope was that everyone would come and tell Brian that he had to get rid of the dog(that is kinda my secret desire), but instead they all loved him. None of them wanted to own a dog like him ,but it was just fine if we did. I really am the nicest Mom on the planet. Seriously this dog is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am an idiot!
Family comes with ups and downs, but I wouldn't trade mine for the world. We had such a great time and can't wait till the next time we are all together. By then we will have two more grand kids in the family. I am grateful to be a part of this family and will treasure all the memories we made.

Girls Club!

My kids love to play outside with all the neighborhood kids and each other. The other day I went outside to find that the girls had made a "club" inside an old box from the garage. They even had toys from inside and were pretending that it was a birthday party for Leland. What cute girls, I hope my girls are always as close as they are now. My sister is my best friend and I want nothing else for my girls. I hope I never forget how cute they are today and everyday!

Lelands Big Day

Today was Lelands graduation program at school. All the kids in her preschool class got wear these adorable red cap and gown. Leland was not so sure about this because she said "Mommy I get a little shy", I told her I knew she could do it and then let her teacher deal with getting that thing on her. They sang 5 cute little songs, to which Claire was dancing in the isle( I tried to stop her, but the screaming was more distracting than the dancing so we ignored it).
This is the only close up I was able to get, she REALLY wanted to take off the outfit. Oh well she was still the cutest thing in my book.

Go Lakers Go!!!!!!

What an amazing day.
Brian had to do some interviews in Salt Lake and while at the Hotel he sees the entire Laker Team come into the lobby. Brian is a crazy Laker fan so he went up and said Hi to Derick Fisher and shook his hand. He was so giddy he went and bought Lakers tickets for the game that night(they were playing the Jazz).
So tonight we went back to the hotel and while in the lobby we saw the Lakers heading to the game, so Brian patiently waited to see if he could see Koby Bryant ( he seriously has said for years he wants to have his baby, extreme- yes, but this gives you an idea of what I am dealing with here). Well he did see Koby and he actually got to talk to him and shake his hand, we were both so excited we could barely contain ourselves.
We than go to the game and it was a blast!! The Lakers won and it was just to much fun.
There are ALOT of disappointed Jazz fans tonight, but as for this household we couldn't be happier!!!!!

Happy Mothers Day

I had a great Mothers Day. I got to sleep in till 8:30, big deal at my house. Brian and the kids cooked me Breakfast and gave me lots of love and attention.

As I sat in church today and listened to the speakers I felt an overwhelming since of gratitude for my family. I have been so blessed and I am so happy with my life that i just wanted to take this time to thank my own mother for all she has taught me over the years.

1. Pray always

2. Don't take anything for granted

3. Don't complain

4. Always pay your tithing

5. make sure your doors are locked

6. unplug the toaster ( I don't do this)

7. tell your family you love them!

8. Get your food storage

9. And always be happy!

My Mother has taught me so many wonderful lessons in my life and I will always be grateful for her influence in my life and the life of my family.

clean baby clean

Every Friday I have this wonderful thing called a cleaning service visit my home for roughly 3 hours. It really is the happiest day of the week. Yesterday Claire decided to help Guadalupe with the moping, she must have pushed it around the entire downstairs 6 times. Guadalupe(that is my cleaning lady's name) said she was a little worried she might take her job, I laughed a little because if it weren't for this sweet little girl i might not need a cleaning lady.

My little artist

Evelyn has been taking art lessons form a local artist and she had a art show this past wed. night. It was so cute to see all the kids art and how proud they were of it. They gave out awards to each child for the thing they most excel at, when they called Evelyns name They said she wins the award for hardest worker, she gets the most accomplished in every class. I always have to make sure to have extra work for Evelyn.
I thought that was so fitting of her, because she is such a focused girl. The other day all the kids were out playing and evelyn stayed inside to do worksheets(she did 7 math fact sheets). She really does crack us up. She even asked her teacher if she could go to summer school because she thought it would be fun. Her teacher said I think you would be a little bored.

Here she is with her best friend Addison, who also takes the art class.
It's hard to believe how fast they grow up!

Special Moments!

The other night I was putting Evelyn and Leland to bed and we started talking about the new baby coming. I was telling them how I felt when they were born and it was such a sweet moment, they were asking questions and they just loved hearing the answers. I told them how much I love them and how special they are to our family and I could see big tears rolling down Evelyn's checks. I asked her why she was crying and she said "It makes me feel so happy when you say those things to me"
Being a Mother is one of the greatest gifts i have ever been given and I treasure every second of this time with my kids.
I tried to tell Coleman the same thing when I tucked him in that night and he put his fingers in his ears and asked like he was asleep. I know he has a sweet side, but I guess he is getting to cool to show it.
Life is so short and never want to forget a moment! I love my family and I hope they always know how much.
Okay I know i was a little sappy, but these pregnancy hormones are really getting the best of me, I will try to refrain from such ranting in the future, but i make no promises!
