Ride a little horse

Ride a little Mama!!!
After all the candy hit the system tonight the girls were in rare form and Mama only added to the craziness. They started doing ride a horse on Mama's lap and it got seriously out of control. They were laughing so hard and I had to snap a few shots of them being so silly.
Everyone is so happy to have Mama here, most of all me!!!
Top 5 reasons it is nice to have my Mom around:
1. She does all the bending for me!!! If I drop something I seriously want to cry because it is so hard for me to bend and get it, so now my Mom just gets it - AWESOME!!!
2. She gives me a foot rub every night-HEAVEN!
3. My kids want her to do everything for them. Brian and I are just not good enough anymore!
4. She cooks and cleans really well!!!
5. And the best reason of all is I know I can count on her to love and care for my kids while I am in the hospital and I know they will be happy!! Thanks Mom, your the best!!!!!!!

Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween!!!!!!
Here are my little trick or treater's
Leland was Sleeping Beauty, Claire was a Barbie fairy, Evelyn was a cowgirl, and Coleman was a demented Tinkerbell ( all his idea and helped mad visible with his fathers help).
Leland and Claire on the hay ride in the neighborhood. We have the best neighborhood, they went all out this year for Halloween. We had Chili at one house, a haunted house in one garage, and about 6 house with different games. The kids had so much fun going from house to house and by the time we came home all of our feet hurt.
This is Coleman's scary face, he had so much fun going out with all his friends. He is definitely not our little boy anymore.
My favorite picture of Evelyn.
Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!!

Today's activities

Today was Evelyn's Special day in Karate, which means she gets to pick what they work on. Evelyn chose kicks, here she is showing off her mad skills
Way to go Evelyn!
Leland had her Halloween party at Ballet and all the girls dressed up.
This is her whole class, Claire is not a real member of the class but the teacher invited her to be in the picture because she is so dang cute and she loves, loves, loves to dance. During Leland's class Claire is in the waiting room dancing her little heart out and it has definitely won over the staff.

My little ballerina and mermaid.
Today was a good day!!!

9 days and counting

We can't wait!!!!!!!!!!
Tonight we made paper chains with the kids so they could count down everyday till the baby comes. We have 9 days and they are so excited that it is so close.
Notice Coleman's unique look, he did not want to take a picture so he put the blanket over his head and I just went with it. He really does crack me up!

High School Musical 3

Girls Day!!
Saturday I was lucky enough to take my 2 older girls on a girls day with their best friend and mom. We went out to lunch and to see High School Musical 3. The girls loved it and to be honest so did I, it was just a fun movie! It was so funny to listen to all the little pre-teens screaming and giggling at how cute the boys in the movie were. Kim and I got a little preview of what to come in the years ahead. The best was when the 2 main characters kissed and Leland said "eww" as loud as she could, at 4 I am hoping that is the reaction. I know it won't last forever so I am going to just enjoy it while lasts.

Evelyn's special day

Evelyn was in need of some one on one time with Mom so last week we went to the mall and had to much fun. When we first walked into the mall the first thing she said to me was " This is great we don't have to listen to Claire cry and listen to Leland ask for everything pink." She held my hand the whole time and rested her head on my arm, it was so sweet. We enjoyed looking for "cool" clothes and some new shoes, she says she never gets anything new and that is kinda true (she is really hard to shop for), so it was so exciting for her to have my undivided attention. After shopping we had dinner at the food court (her choice-not mine) and then we played games at the arcade, which we never do so she was on cloud nine. Evelyn said the best part of the night was beating me at air hockey. We finished the night with ice cream. Here is a picture of her with her new clothes, she said I definitely had to blog this, so here it is!!
She got 4 new shirts (which were near impossible to find because I will not let her wear clothes from the boy section), 2 new shoes, 1 pair of gray cords, and some new PJ's.
Evelyn I loved my special day with you, you are so great and a blast to hang out with,
I love you!!!!!

playing catch up!

I haven't been on my computer in a while and thought I would post what we have been up to lately, love you all, ENJOY!

Thanksgiving Point

The kids had fall break this past weekend and due to the fact that i am about to pop we decided to stay close to home and enjoy some of the local activities. We have been to Thanksgiving Point before, but we have never been during the Corn Belly's and Barnyard Boo Festivals. I went with a friend and our kids and had a absolute BLAST.
My kids and the Symonds kids!!
They had so many cool things for the kids to do and this was one of the favorites. Instead of a sand box they had a corn box, So FUN! I just love this picture of Leland.
Claire loves a good slide and she must have done this one 20 times and of course she had her sweet baby on her lap.
Evelyn and Addie doing a meditation pose, what a crack-up!

Everyone rode a pony except for the big boys. Claire loved it and did NOT want my help, she just smiled and laughed and was the cutest thing. She was so cute telling her Dad all about it later that day. She really is growing up too FAST for my liking.
Conner and Coleman, best friends!

Everyone also got their face painted and enjoyed many other fun activities.
Watching my kids grow up is the best part of my life and I truly feel blessed to be a part of their lives!!!!! Love being a Mom and can't wait to add the last sweet baby to our family!!

Me Mommy!!

Claire LOVES her baby!!! She tells me everyday 100 times that she is the mommy and that is the baby. She wraps her, rocks her, sings to her, and even changes her diaper. It really is adorable and i can only hope she loves her real Baby sister just as much.

She decided to put her baby in her PJ's and walked around like that all morning.
So so so cute!!

Nothing like a good book!!

The Sign of the Beaver by Elizabeth George Speare
Even at 10 years old Coleman still loves to be read to. Brian loves a good book and enjoyed reading this one with his only boy. We highly recommend it!!!

xyghif

I am starting to wonder if I am a bit retarded. I have the hardest time with the stupid code that blogger makes you type in before you leave a comment. I am just wondering if anyone else routinely has to enter 2 or 3 before they get it right. Is something wrong with me?

Our little reader.

Evelyn LOVES to read and will happily read to anyone that will listen. Her favorite audience is Claire, this girls loves books just as much and when she wants to be read to she usually brings a whole stack. This morning I found them sitting and reading, I love these moments and hope they always like hanging out together.

Field Trip!

Yesterday Brian and I were chaperone's on the 1st grade field trip to the Zoo. It really was a lot of fun, we brought the little girls with us and they had a BLAST! Claire walked the entire time and was such a big girl. There were so many parent volunteers that we only had 2 1st graders with us plus our own kids, gotta love private school when you have 20 kids in the class and 14 parents want to go.
Here is Evelyn and Noah on the train.
Some friends of ours came as volunteers with there daughter so we just hug out together and the kids had a really good time.
My little girls, check out Evelyn's face. Seriously ticked off. Apparently we did not eat lunch when she wanted and she was not going to let us forget it, she seriously walked around the Zoo like this for a while until I remembered that the teacher had made worksheets for the kids to fill out about all the animals they saw. When I gave her that "work" she was in heaven and she never complained again. We have a big time over achiever on our hands, it really was almost funny how quickly her attitude changed-gotta love this girl!!!
The Whole Class!!!

Papa's Visit

After a week of working in Salt lake Brian's dad, Papa, came to spend the weekend with us. The kids went crazy over him, I really don't think he could have been more popular.
We did lots of fun things one of the most fun was the discovery museum in Salt Lake. The kids had so much fun, it is one of the best we have been to. I highly recommend it.
We are so happy that Papa was able to come, the kids miss you already.
