Claire and Leland love all the same things and it tends to lead to fighting, if one wants a Barbie the other wants a barbie, if Leland picks the pink cup than Claire will always want that same one. It gets pretty ridiculous. The best part though is when they rein-act the fight. i got the dramatics on video for your entertainment, enjoy. By the way this happens at least twice daily-so funny!!!

merry Christmas
We had a very merry Christmas, I love being with my kids and watching their excitement was heaven. Everyone was good this year and Santa rewarded them.
Leland and Claire got Barbie's and it reminds me so much of my sister and I when we were little girls.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

SNOW, SNOW and more SNOW!!
We got about 8 inches of snow this week and the kids went nuts!!! They had so much fun sledding and playing in the snow. We really LOVE our Utah winters!!!
Let's Dance!
This past Tuesday Leland had her Christmas dance recital and was a adorable little Elf. She had a great time and said she loved being on stage and doing her turns. It was so cute to watch.

Maria's Visit
Baby it's cold outside!
My sister-n-law Maria came to visit with us for a week and we had a blast, she had never been to Temple square and was pretty impressed.
I was so sad when she had to leave.
Leland and Maria, I think they are kindred spirits or something because they just had a great time together. Maria painted nails and had make-up parties. they also watched movies together and Leland loved helping her with her little boy Caden. Of course Claire was never far behind.
When I told Leland that Maria was going home Leland let out a big sigh and said "That's a bummer" She really does miss her.
SOOOO excited!!!!
Leland has been very impatiently waiting for a birthday party invitation that is just for her. She has watched her brother and sister go to many parties and always wonders when it will be her turn. Well the day finally came and she was so excited she could hardly stand it. She couldn't wait to give her the beautiful wedding barbie that she got her friend and was so curious what they would do at the party. Well she was not disappointed, the party was a lot of fun and she just can't wait for her next invitation!!!!

Its the most wonderful time of the year
Family Night
As the chaos started Brian put on Christmas music as I nursed the baby, the kids dove right in and began the decorating. It was one of those moments when time stands still and you truly hear the joy of your kids and life seems perfect. I don't want to sound cheesy, but it was really magical. Claire was finally big enough to hang ornaments and I didn't even care that the bottom of the tree had 75% of the ornaments. Every time she put one on she would just glow and give me a hug. Coleman was kind and loving to his sisters and that is not always the case. As for Evelyn and Leland they were so cute and fun, every ornament was the prettiest and they were so careful not to break anything.
When I got pregnant I wondered how this would change our family and all I can say is I love my big family, I love the giggles, the mess, the laundry, the kisses and hugs, but most of all I love knowing that these people are my family and that is the greatest gift of all!

Mama Leaves
I really thought 3 weeks was a long time, but honestly time just flew by. My mom is an amazing woman, I am so impressed with her strength and how hard the girl can work. Even my friends were like "man she is on top of it!" And I am so grateful she was , because I needed her help so much. This c-section really threw me for a loop and because of my wonderful Mom and husband(sorry Brian I think my Mom out worked you) I am now ready to be a happy Mom of 5!!! WOW!
While my Mom was here she fell in my kitchen and broke her wrist in 2 places. The amazing thing is she didn't even cry, she was calm and just plainly stated "I think I broke my wrist and need x-rays" I told her if she was trying to get out of work all she had to do is say so, but of course her handicap didn't stop her from her duties of service.
They say you love those you serve, well I am now convinced she loves me the most, sorry Stacie!
Mother you were awesome and I can't say thank you enough!
On the way to the airport Leland said to me "Now that Mama is going home you are going to have to do everything" So I guess that means that the kids noticed that i wasn't good for much more than nursing a new baby, now I am Mom again and it feels really good.
WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
