Saturday My great friend Mykin and I ran in a 1/2 marathon relay. She ran 6.55 and I ran 6.55. When she called me a couple months ago and asked me if I wanted to run it with her I was like sure, that should be a great race. Anyway Utah has been having some seriously crazy weather lately and on the day of the race it was 38 degrees and raining-what a beautiful spring day :)! Mykin was running the first half so after she took off I headed to the half way point. As I sat in the warm car and watched the rain and a little snow come pouring down I seriously doubted if I wanted to do it. But I got up the nerve to get out of the car and go wait for Mykin to get to the exchange point. I was so proud of her she rocked it and then it was my turn. Once I got started I was happy to be running, I was very grateful for an awesome play list, it kept me going when i was really cold and wet. All in all it was a fun run and i really enjoyed my yummy breakfast at Kneaders afterwards. The best part of the day was getting in a hot shower and thawing out.:) Later that day I signed up with a friend to do a full half marathon in August!

Mykin and Me, # 72 and 73

I did it!!!!
Thanks Mykin for a fun morning!!!

You Go Girl!
Way to go Tillia...I can't believe that crazy weather, but I really can't believe there is a dude in the background in shorts and a heart rate strap in the snow/rain. He's crazy and you're awesome:)
