San Diego-Spring Break

Spring Break 2011

April 11-15th

I LOVE vacations!!! I love it when my kids are out of school and we can just relax. I would probably love vacations more if we lived close to a beach(i miss how easy vacations were on the east coast) Anyway this yr we headed down to San Diego and it was wonderful!!! We had a few moments when I thought Brian and I might lose our minds, but we survived another vacation with 5 kids.

The girls had fun playing in our suite and watching movies, Coleman was very helpful with watching Ruby and brought her up for a few naps while we swam. Here she is sound asleep on the couch-is was SO tired from swimming!!!

all the kids LOVED swimming and i VERY much enjoyed having the warm sun touching my skin.

Our first adventure was to Lego Land and it was so perfect for our kids ages. The girls had a blast and since Coleman doesn't love scary rides he was happy to ride most of the baby stuff with them.

Ruby's FAVORITE ride was this little airplane ride that went around in an oval and went a tiny bit sideways on the curve. She would squeal!!! I think we rode it a total of 11 times!!!

Our FAVORITE thing we did while we were there was the ZOO. It is an amazing zoo and we all had such a great time!!!

Coleman really wanted one of those caricatures of himself and each girl got to pick out a stuffed animal. Ruby-a panda bear, Evelyn -a polar bar, Leland-a snow leopard, and Claire- a tiger.
