Lacrosse Fall 2011

We Heart Lacrosse
Coleman has really hit his stride and is starting to find his grove in lacrosse. He has a sweet spot and rarely misses from that magic spot. One of the last games of the season i was able to go without kids and just enjoy watching him and not have to wrangle little girls at the same time. I found myself getting heated and yelling more then i expected. I really enjoyed watching him and love that Brian has help coach almost every game this season. He is the best sub coach and Coleman calls it and i know it means so much to Coleman that his Dad takes such an interest. Now we are heading in to competition team all winter and spring. This should be fun!!

Here is Coleman #9, he has just shot and made it, my camera just missed getting the shot. Love this BOY!!!
Catching the ball and headed in for the kill!!!!

I am grateful for the great yellow and black helmet that he got for his birthday-it really helps me find him in the sea of color!!!

Happy Sunday

Over the last few months I have been really trying to count my blessings and saver the moments of Motherhood that I now will not last forever. Tonight I put the little girls to bed (bc thanks to Daddy they stayed up very late last night and were VERY cranky-thanks Brian :) love ya) and I made cookies with the 2 big girls and laughed and talked and tried to just be with them. I got my booty beat in UNO and it was a great night. Love these oh so very sweet girls!!!

Let it snow

We got a little snow on Saturday and the girls COULD NOT wait to bust out the snow clothes and sleds. I am not ready for the mess that comes with snow. But cuddling in front of the fire all winter is a plus!!

That so crazy

Ruby got her finger shut in the car door by Claire this morning. Even though it was a total accident they were both pretty upset about it. I took Ruby to the Dr to have them look at it to be on the Safe side and they decided to splint it so she wouldn't bump it so much. When I told her to tell the Dr thanks she looked at him with a big smile and said "thank you Dr, this thing so crazy" and just laughed. I love this girl so much she is always making me smile and laugh. Motherhood is hard but I love every minute of it.

So here is the deal I am so far behind on getting this thing caught up completely that I think I will just not catch up. I will say I had a great summer. My sister and kids came for 3 weeks and I love them SO dearly. My kids started school, Coleman in Jr High-yikes!!! Brian graduated from his MBA-HIP HIP HOORAY!!!! Claire is in K, Leland is in 1st and ruby started preschool. Life is good. I will start blogging again from this point :):)

Ed and Rebecca come!!!

July 2
We were so glad when Ed, Rebecca, Cater and Callie came to visit us in July. We had so much fun going to Water parks, Snowbird, Spa Day (Rebecca and I), and hanging out!! Tank and Daisy loved all the extra hands petting them and it was fun to have the kids get to know each other better. Cater and Coleman went to BYU Sports camp together and had fun! Callie brought her guinea pig Mo and the girls fell in love. We had fun talking and hanging out and hope we get to see each other again soon.

Brace Face

Well he is officially a Pre-teen in every way. He has been having milkshakes, and jello and soup all day. Oh how I remember those days. It's really is hard for me to believe I am old enough to have a kid with Braces. Don't you just love his smile, I promise the personality is just as delightful.

He has orange bands in top and blue on the bottom. Chosen for several reasons: DUKE Bluedevils , Florida Gators, and simply bc orange is his favorite color!!! I asked him what he was going to get next time and he said HOT PINK. Lol.
