Sisters Sleepover

My girls are always asking me to have a sleepover on there floor, tonight I gave in. I am so grateful they have each other to share their life with.

Pretty in Pink

Today we went and got Claire a hard cast and of course she picked PINK and she is so proud of herself. She was a total trooper, the office was running 3 hours behind and it was a LONG morning. We survived and she will be sporting this hot pink arm for the next 4 weeks!

Poor Baby Claire Bear

Well we can no longer say that we have never had any broken bones. Claire had a little accident with a play ground and the play ground won!! She was at the park with Evelyn while Brian was watching Coleman's lacrosse practice (the park was next to the field). They played happily for a while until Claire fell off the bridge thing and landed on her arm wrong and started crying. While if you know Claire she cry's a lot so Evelyn didn't think to much of it and took her over to Brian. Claire said her arm hurt and Brian looked at it and immediately thought it was broken. So he gets the kids (he had everyone but Leland, who was with me at her kindergarten interview at the school) and heads straight to the car. He calls me and I meet him at the ER. Thanks to a wonderful friend (thanks brandy) Leland got to stay at her little thing and she picked her up for me. Anyway after we got to the ER they got us in a room and took a few x-rays, which confirmed that it was broken in 2 places. ( of course NONE of this was done in any sort of a timely fashion). Next the nurse came in and gave Claire some medicine to help her relax, because at this point she was a mess!!! It didn't take long before she was drunk as a skunk and literally cracking us up. I was trying to hold her so she wouldn't hurt her arm anymore and I guess she was so relaxed that she just peed all over me and the floor. It was super fun to have pee on my jeans the rest of the day. Claire on the other hand thought it was pretty funny :). Anyway when the DR came in Brian was not that impressed and wanted to take her to a different ER where a friend of ours was working. You should have seen the Dr's face when he asked if that would be OK. (we would have gone to the other place first, but we couldn't find out if he was working so we just went to the one that we knew took our insurance) anyway they agreed to let us leave and sent us with the x-rays to to see our AWESOME friend at the other ER. He took such good care of her and i was totally impressed with the whole ER. When they had to set her arm back in place they game her this shot of medicine that made her totally out of it. She was scary looking, because she was awake, but not really present. It upset me so bad that I had to leave the room and about a minute later Brian had joined me in the hall. he sat down next to me and put his arm around me and he was just totally crying, it was so sweet to see him so emotional. Brian hardly EVER cry's, but he loves his family and to see his little girl like that broke his heart. I love that man! After it was all over she slept for about a hour and then she started to come around. It was so sweet that the whole day all she kept was "I want to be done and be with my sisters" she loves she sisters so much!!! This was a hard day and I hope she heals fast. She will be in a soft cast for about a week until the swelling goes down and then we will have it put in a hard cast. She is hoping it can be pink and her sisters already told her what they wanted to put on it. Evelyn wants to say " Claire I love you so much" and Leland wants to say " You are a Pinkalicious girl" I love these girls. And not to forget Coleman, he played the caring big brother the whole time. And once again my awesome friend Brandy came to my rescue and came and got Evelyn, Coleman and Ruby at the first ER and kept all 4 of my kids ALL day!! She was a life saver!!!!!

I love this little girl with all my heart and I hope she like all the attention she gets from her cast!!! I am sure she will use it to her every advantage LOL!

Spring Break

April 4-9th

This year for Spring Break we were so lucky to have Brian's parents come for a visit and go on our vacation with us. At first we were suppose to go to St. George, but 3 day's before we left the company we were renting from called and said they house wasn't able to have renters due to HOA restrictions. Well, because i am married to the greatest man ever he looked till he found a an awesome house to rent in Las Vegas. Amazingly enough the trip went really smooth, and we made it there in record time. We mostly just hung out by the pool and played pool and ping pong. Everyone had such a great time together and it was just the break we needed.

Claire Bear

Me and my awesome Mother-in-law. She won us 2 ticket to see the show O. This is the best story ever: While we were in Vegas it really wasn't that hot so the kids and I spent most of our time in the hot tub. Well one day Brian told Coleman if he jumped in the pool and stayed under water for 10 seconds he would take him to see Blue Man Group. Well Coleman didn't hesitate, he jumped right in and you could tell it was pretty cold, but he did it. About 5 minutes later Brenda came out and asked why he was so happy and Coleman told her that he just won tickets by jumping in the pool. Well Brenda says to Brian "I wouldn't jump in for Blue Man Group, but I would for O" So Brian says "Mom, if you jump in right now I will buy you a ticket to that show." Now you have to understand she was fully dressed in her clothes for the day with her hair and make-up done. Well seeing an opportunity she says "are you serious?" and Brian said "sure if you do it right now" So she took her shoes off and jumped in the pool with all her clothes on, I was laughing so hard. I wish I had had my camera. My kids thought it was awesome, but no one was as impressed as me. I just couldn't believe she had done it, that pool was cold and she was totally dressed. All i can say is "Brenda you rock" Anyway she needed someone to go with so by default I got to go with her, because first of all Brian hates shows and second of all i am way funner that Brian(it's true). So that night we went and had a yummy yummy dinner at Yellowtail restaurant and saw O, which is an absolutely amazing show by Cirque Du Soleil. I highly recommend it!! A+ !! And none of it would have been possible if my awesome Mother-in-law hadn't jumped in the pool. So A BIG Thank You Brenda!! And I guess i should thank Brian because he did buy the tickets :):) I also got to see Blue Man Group with Brian and Coleman and it was very cool, Coleman loved loved loved it!

While we were there we put a 700 piece puzzle together and it was a hard one. It was made up of a white background with 100 chickens on it. It loved it and had such a great time putting it together with everyone!! What fun memories!

I am grateful for my family and so blessed to have wonderful grandparents for my kids to love and look up too. We had such a great time with you and are so glad you come.
