Practice makes perfect

Brian got me a great camera over a year ago and i am just now trying to figure out how to take pictures without using the auto setting. Let me know what you think.

Evelyn's part

I really wanted the next 2 post in reverse, but oh well you get the idea.

This is her part:

While serving as prophet, Lorenzo Snow realized there wasn't enough money for the Church to do it's work. While visiting the Saints in Southern Utah, President Snow saw the struggles of the Saints because drought was killing the crops. He shared with them a revelation that promised if the Saints would pay their tithing, they would have rain. The people trusted the Lord, paid their tithes, and it rained! Because of their faith, the Church now had enough money to continue its work.

1st Grade Devotional

Evelyn and Coleman go to a LDS Christian school and every friday they have a school devotional, today the 1st grade was in charge of the program. It was all about LDS church history so all the kids dressed-up as pioneers. It was a wonderful program and I was so impressed that all the kids had all there parts memorized. They sang a lot and is was such a spiritual experience. Evelyn did really good with her part and I was so proud of her, Coleman, Claire, Ruby and I were there to support her.(Brian is on his way home from out of town). Here she is in her outfit and with her best friend Addie. Below is a video of her doing her part.

extreme dress-up!

My girls love to play dress-up, but they usually don't play like this. Coleman decided they should do the funniest outfits they could come up with, so with his help they had a BLAST! I could hear them laughing all the way down the hall in my room. I got a pretty good fashion show. This was the only picture that Coleman said I could post of him ( he is very weird about me blogging about him). During the night he also wore a ladybug, tutu, and a fussy scarf. I did have a picture of it, but i think he got on my camera a erased them because they are gone now! Coleman is a pretty smart kid, Mom can't post what she doesn't have. Thanks Coleman!

Evelyn and Leland had a blast, I think most of it was just being with their brother and having fun with him! They adore him so much and love getting his attention. Coleman loves them too, but he really likes it when he can boss them around and they actually listen.

Let's Dance

Today was Claire first day at her very own dance class. She has been dieing to take for 6 mons. and they finally started a class for 2 year olds. She did so well and listened to her teacher. Leland and I had so much fun watching her. Leland held Ruby the whole time and Ruby fell sound asleep in her arms. Leland is crazy about that baby.

What's up with her tooth?

Seriously I can't look at Evelyn right now without laughing. I try really hard but her smile looks like she has one of those bubba mouth pieces. This picture doesn't do it justice. She just recently lost the other front tooth and within a day this baby tooth just moved into this beautiful little spot. I can only hope it falls out soon (heaven knows she would NEVER let me pull it). It is probably not that good for her self-esteem for her Mother to be laughing at her all the time. So have a good laugh at Evelyn's expense.

I amaze myself!

If you ask my husband he will tell you I am the best cook in all the land! Yea right!! The other day I made bread in my new mixer and it turned out quite delicious. Brian and the kids were very surprised! I am so AMAZING!
